For those who stayed on after surgery — which neighbourhood would you recommend for the recovery week? I'd like somewhere quiet but close enough to the clinic for follow-ups. Şişli? Nişantaşı? Somewhere else?
We stayed in Nişantaşı and it was perfect — flat, walkable streets for gentle strolls, pharmacies everywhere, and only a short ride to the clinic. A bit pricier but worth it when you're not feeling 100%.
Şişli worked well for us too and was a little cheaper. Just check how close the hotel actually is to the clinic — "central" can still mean 30 minutes in traffic.
