How did you choose your surgeon in Istanbul?
I'm planning my procedure for this autumn and feeling a bit overwhelmed by how many clinics there are in Istanbul. How did you all narrow it down? Did you go by before/after photos, video consultations, reviews, or something else? Would love to hear what mattered most to you.

Honestly the video consultation made the biggest difference for me. Two surgeons I really liked on paper felt rushed on the call, and the one I picked actually marked up a photo of me and explained the trade-offs. That patience told me a lot.
I asked each clinic how many of my specific procedure they do per month, and who would actually be operating — not just the "face" of the clinic. A couple dodged the question, which made the decision easy.
Reviews helped, but I learned to read the one-to-two-month-old ones, not just the glowing day-after posts. Recovery is where you find out how good the aftercare really is.
